Re: Contact
Hi all,
I have a small favour to ask, and it is a bit of a hard one to word without causing offence.
Over the next couple of weeks could visits, phone calls and texts to Sam be kept to an absolute minimum. There have been a few complaints from the nursing staff about having to field so many phone calls from friends wanting to see how he is doing. And Sam himself at times does not have the energy to read or reply to text messages.
I stress that this is just for the next couple of weeks until he is back on his feet.
The more energy Sam can put into healing the sooner he will be out of hospital and back to fighting the real source of his ills.
I will let you all know when he is contactable. Better yet, I hope he will contact you.
Until then I will keep you up to play and keep passing on your thoughts to him.
Thanks for your undertanding,
Sarge

What a great initiative Sarge! So we don't have to bombard Paul or you with request for information.
Hi Sam, Just had a long chat with your mum and she told us the op. went well and you're on your feet again. There won't be fritters on the menu yet but you must be so hungry you are even willing to attack tulip bulbs, well, not really...
Great Sarge made this webforum for you and apart from the whole world knowing about your famous farts (don't worry, we know your side of the story) it's good to be able to follow your progress. Positive vibes are trying to reach you from this part of the world!
Lots of love , Nick, Colin, Phil and Yvonne
Sarge, Super idea super effort. I must apolgise though as Marty Clarkson and I thought it might be good to send Barnsey some music strait to his ward. Not so bad you might think but after much deliberation we decided that the best way to say we love you Sam was to send the Huntly and Mere mere combined symphony orchestra(although a set of symbols a guitar with one string and a road cone don't usually represent an orchestra. Once you add some number 8 wire bent into triangular shape your rocking) to do a rendition of Tina Turners "Simply the best"...once a day... for a month. Marty is doing his best to recall the orchestra so fingers crossed.
I will be back in NZ in March barnsey so will see you then.
Hugs and kisses
Bloxy
Hi Barnsey,
Best wishes from Kiely and I plus Imogen, our new addition to the whanau since our annual summer piss up.
Keep up the good work,
Olly
